My 2000 word fiction has been completed, but since English is not my first language, I feel that I need a native English speaker to help me with some problems and provide some suggestions. I booked a 1-to-1 tutorial with academic support to help me modify the article. In today's tutorial, I hoped the teacher would l find some grammatical errors, inappropriate words, and strange sentences.

The tutor I met today was Nicola Rae, and she read my sci-fi fiction very seriously and responsibly. During the tutorial, helped me point out the inappropriate words in fiction, including some details. As it is online teaching, I read the fiction that I shared with her so that I can keep up with her reading rhythm. She then edits all these problems and sends them to the dialog box. Finally, I got an email from Nicola with some edited items.

Due to time constraints, I did not get feedback on her reading fictions. But today's tutorial is mainly to modify the grammar. I am gratified that I originally thought that there would be a lot of mistakes, but I didn't expect tutor to say that only minor modifications were needed, which shows that I have made some progress in English writing. I will continue to work hard to learn English writing, because writing is a thinking process and refelction, and English thinking is very different from Chinese thinking. Bilingual thinking will make my design more flexible. So when I am free, I will practice more English writing.
