Lucy
reflection
Lucy is a movie I've seen many times. It's a movie about ego consciousness. This movie is a good illustration of the point I want to make, which is how the Ego connect with the World. In the movie, Lucy's super consciousness turns into a USB flash drive and is left in the world forever, which has a profound and ultimate connotation.
In the movie, Lucy absorbs the CPH4 in her body, thus arousing the infinite potential of her brain and evolving into a super human. The English name "Lucy" not only refers to Scarlett's beautiful character, but also pays tribute to the dark and hairy Lucy 3.2 million years ago. So at the end of The film, Scarlett travels back through time and time to touch the fingertips of the still ignorant australopithecus.
In the movie, Lucy uses chemicals to develop the ability of her brain to 100%, which is actually a process from “ego” to “super-ego” I mentioned in last workflow. At first, she is just an ordinary girl who escapes from the chase. Later, she has super power to fight against the evil forces. She tried to get in touch with Samuel Norman, a senior professor of brain research, and did what she could to pass on the knowledge she had gained through evolution. In my opinion, this is a kind of bottom-up art, except that her audience is a professor of brain research, who has witnessed her historic moment of developing her brain's potential to 100%. In the end she was perfectly connected to the world and told everyone: I am everywhere.
