For the production and application of this piece, the designer chose a special paper, combined with different printing techniques. One notable detail refers to the optical transmission technology, which simulates the corporate folder on the printing plate. The overall result abstracts the story of everyday life in this unique space. This made me consider using special materials to make the box. At the moment I have not found the right materials to make the box, but I believe I will find a suitable solution soon during the next experiment.
This work is to directly make a publication into the shape of a square box, in fact, it is a book. This is very similar to what I thought at the beginning. At first, I just wanted to make it into a black mysterious book. This work has spent a lot of time on typesetting, and its grid and sequence are worthy of my study. It shows the rhythm unique to this book.
This work is essentially based on the principles of stage magic, evoking the five basic categories of magic. These categories greatly inspired the concept and aesthetic foundation, and merged the minimalist form and the graphic design aesthetics of lighting fractal geometry. It combines traditional graphic design and animation tools, as well as robot animation, projection mapping, automatic film photography, and other technologies unique to the studio. The task of graphic design is to first combine with the movement of the robot in the physical space, and then maintain its visual fidelity during projection, which requires multiple iterations. It starts with a box and develops a series of stories. I think I can use this method to show the contents of the box to the audience in the form of a combination of animation and graphic design. Because of the special circumstances, we need to exhibit online. In the case where the audiences cannot feel the physical items, this may be a good choice.
There are many stickers and tags in this work. This has been done in the Rubbish Famzine mentioned by Rose. Making some stickers and labels with traces of years can bring the audience into the atmosphere I want to create.
