In the last visual experiment, I tried to make different filters. But I cannot make a leap in color. In order to make old and mottled memories, I made them black and white or old-film-like. I think these experiments may have been done by many people and cannot reflect the uniqueness of these photos.
So in this experiment I explored more functions of Photoshop. I thought of the selection tool. I tried to select the highlight part of each photo and re-create a layer for the highlight part. In this way, if the original photo is processed into black and white, and then the highlight layer is overlaid, an unexpected effect will appear. Selecting highlights to do this effect can reflect a sense of memory more than selecting an area directly on the original image. This is exactly the feeling I want to make. The other parts gradually fade, and only the highlights are clearly printed in the memory.
The further visual experiment allowed me to achieve an effect that was not achieved in the previous experiment, and this effect is more ideal and fuller, which creates a more touching memory for the original photos. The visual effects I made in this experiment, combined with some filters from the last time, are very useful for processing the remaining photos.
