Meta Ego
"On this album, I'm the last surviving human being to take earth's plants into space before the end of the day. I live in the body of the devil ray and swim among the stars and oceans. I climbed the infinite loop of Penrose stairs in a four-dimensional maze. I am crazy for a dangerous and extravagant soul in the neon city of the future. I dived into the blue sea and found the gateway to the new world beginning... It seems like these crazy adventures are all about finding something and ending up nowhere, but ending up knowing more about myself. Some people may say that these experiences are not "real", but on the way because of my strong, real feelings, I believe that they have objectively happened, just not in this space and time.

In this world of infinite possibilities, the potential of the self is infinite, and you are free to be whatever you want to be, across borders, languages, species, time, space, your existence need not be defined at all."

This is an album of music released in 2020, which discusses the infinite consciousness of human. Lexie believes in Multiverse that all the self-consciousness generated in the process of creation is really happened, just in other space and time.
She's had a lot of amazing journeys in the process, and I think that comes from the greatest diversity of the human individual. A person's diversity is best illustrated when she can develop a romantic and peaceful universe out of herself. Even in the eyes of others, this is just a series of inner activities. In the mind of the creator, she has gone through the process of breaking and rebuilding herself. She said that each song is like a pile of mirror fragments, shining on different "ME" from different angles, in different time and space, putting together a multi-faceted cut diamond shape, that one or more of them can shine on the heart of each audience.
"Ego" is a constant theme in her artwork. In my past projects, I have tried many similar themes, exploring how the individual can separate from the collective, exploring how the individual can not be submerged by mass culture. But this time I made a change, I no longer see the individual and the collective as two incompatible concepts, they are no longer opposites, I want to explore the role of the individual in the collective. We come from the collective, and we can never leave the collective. As I mentioned in Motivation, art is not an ethereal thing, it has its base, and it is a bottom-up product rather than a top-down one. I hope to reflect these differences in this project.
