Tear down the Wall

Released in 1979, The Wall is the 11th album of Pink Floyd.
Based on the character Pink (inspired by the life of Roger Waters and Syd Barrett), the album deals with isolation, madness and schizophrenia, all symbolized by the wall behind which Pink encloses himself brick after brick during his life.
Tear down the Wall is the graphic interpretation of a sound work through animations, the cyclical dimension of which refers to a continuous process in humans: the construction of a wall to avoid facing reality.

This topic is somewhat similar to what I want to talk about. Human beings, most of us, are oblivious to the reality we don't want to face. But as designers, we should be the minority, the ones who point out the problem. Put the problem in front of people's eyes and get their attention.
This is a collaboration between two designers who use a lot of variegated effects to blur the picture. I think this effect is very suitable for record type, recall type content. And that's what I'm going to do.

Christopher Doyle‘s Photography

Christopher Doyle photography has influenced me since I was a teenager, and I bought two copies of his cameraman through a seller in Japan. I first knew him from Kar-wai Wang’s movie. He was born in Sydney, Australia, but speaks many languages, including Chinese. He often works with film directors in Hong Kong, making too many internationally award-winning films.

His photography techniques are very delicate. What I learned most from him is the perspective of observing things. I can even say that he gave me the initial aesthetic basis. A normal person sees a can of pineapple and thinks it's just a can, but an artist sees a can of pineapple and makes a lot of associations and thoughts and develops a story. I've seen almost everything on his camera, and I don't think the influence of adolescence can be lost. He can find beauty in dirty, messy, lousy scenes, which may be called ruin aesthetics. This has deeply affected me, trying to find it everywhere and finding it interesting and beautiful. This led me to observe things from different perspectives in future practice. For example, when I travel with others, I can use my eyes to capture pictures that others haven't found. Sometimes I take photos and post them on social media, and people I go with are just surprised to ask if we're going to the same place. That might be called one of my strength.

ANNUR

The photographs were taken by Elizaveta Porodina, a German female photographer. Most of her photographs come from the details of things. She is good at Photoshop these pictures, recombining them into interesting pictures. To me, this collage combination is very poetic, making each image seem to tell a story.
