Analysis of 

Questionnaire results

I received ten paper answers and nine electronic answers. They are all from my audiences. So although the scope is not large, it is very representative. I analyzed the five aspects of this questionnaire one by one.

1. Under what conditions will my Audience‘s (designer & artist) ego stand out?
The choice of most people is "When criticizing current events.", followed by "When helping people". This result shows that as other fields have more and more influence on the design fields, designers are more and more like to participate in topics in different fields, causing people to speculate on a specific problem, let people turn their attention to a group, an event, a trend, etc. This will lead people to think about some issues that deserve attention today.
2. What does my audiences understand about the connection between individual and collective?
The results show that most people think that the relationship between the individual and the collective is "Fusion", even though there are still a small number of people who think "No connection". This shows that most people have gradually tended to put their individual positions in a collective background. Because we individuals cannot always avoid collectives. Even if we have a complete and independent individual system, the setting of time and space makes us have to have various relationships with the collective. We were born in a certain era or a certain zone and we cannot avoid blending with the collective. So people have begun to pay attention to the connection of individual and collective.

3. What does my audience understand about the relationship between art and politics?
On the issue of the relationship between art and politics, almost everyone chose "Fusion". This answer exceeded my expectations. When I was chatting with some artists and designer friends, many people's position was that they would only create, and would not cause attention to political issues. After experiencing special events this time, we are in a special period, and our daily life is also wrapped in some real news. This allows all artists and designers to reach a consensus that our creation must have a foundation, and this foundation is from our lives, politics, history and other fields.
4. How do they like to express their ideas?
There are many purposes for creation. The answer to this question is also diverse. Almost as many people choose each option. This is related to the position of each creator. Encourage the public to debate, direct the public, or criticize a certain issue by themselves. It is impossible to say which one is better or which is worse. It only shows that everyone has their own creative thinking.

5. What best reflects their ego?
Most people have chosen "Memory". This is the most useful information I got in this survey. Because we are making memories all the time, what we say and what we do all make up our past, and affect our future, make up each of our different Ego. We step into the future step by step among the memories and the present, forming new memories. In this process, memories are cast into ego, and ego also reacts to memories. Then my next visual experiment can start from the point of "recollection".
