Today I tried to make a prototype of the box. I prepared some tools and plan to make a box that I drew in the sketch.
I used some cardboards to explore the shape of this box. I hope this box looks completely sealed and only the top side can be opened. At the same time, I want the outer wall to be as rigid as possible, so I used two layers of cardboard to stack together as the outer wall. After repeated experiments, I made the first box prototype.
But this box does not match my ideal look:(  I want to make the outer wall of this box as hard as possible, because I need to add other materials to the outer wall of the box. But now it seems that this box is not very strong and hard. It looks like not only can't add materials on the outer wall, nor can it carry the materials I need to put in.
After this experiment, I got the result that I had to change the materials used to make the wall of box. I should use harder materials instead of paper. So I decided to try wood for the wall next time.
