How has this project helped you understand the context for your design practice?
How have you used relevant theory and debate in this project?
This project explores what we should think about as a designer and artist. Through continuous exploration, experimentation, communication, and reflection, the context for my design practice becomes gradually clear. I completed this project in a diversified way. And explored a variety of visual communication in it. In every work, I often think of the design knowledge in unit 1, and mention them repeatedly in the workflow. Practice and reflect on review and innovation. Whether it is a visual experiment or a result in the process, I have used the knowledge in the visual language workshop very frequently. The theoretical support is really essential.

How successful do you feel you have been at the following:
-
undertaking sustained, systematic critical and practical research,
-
using relevant resources and appropriate methods of analysis, enquiry and experimentation
I always like to do visual research before. But this time I have improved, and I have done a sufficient research on the theory. I read many theories of the historical context and modern context related the theme. And made a set of questionnaires. I also quoted the words I read during the later steps to help the audiences understand the theme. This time I also studied Speculative and Critical Design (SCD) in depth, which is very inspiring and encoaraging. It provides young designers with a practical design theory and methodology, which guides us to create a better future, encourages us to view social issues from a speculative perspective, and attracts the audience's attention and thinking.
I hope that the next time I do a project, I can start from a smaller point and find out more specific and detailed issues. This is more conducive to communicate my project.

How have you demonstrated independent and reflective practice?
What have your strengths and weaknesses been?
In this project, I used time management better than last time, and every time I study and reflect, I record it in the workflow in time. In this project, I not only learned new design concepts and skills, but also summarized my own set of design thinking systems. Whenever a stage ends, I will summarize and reflect. For example, drawing a flow analysis, which allows me to more clearly understand the purpose of each step, so as to more accurately determine the force point and the exact force, so that my work is more efficient and meaningful. In the process, I sometimes encounter bottlenecks, so I am not sure what to do next.
My weaknesses is that I have too many ideas. I have assigned too much work and added many small steps. I will do many experiments for some experiments, resulting in insufficient time for the next stage. But at the same time, this is also my strength. I don’t mind making more challenges. I conducted outdoor shooting, filters, photo processing, material collection, manual material production, computer material production, video editing, and conducted many visual experiments. These processes have allowed me to accumulate a lot of design experience and have made me more confident in the project.

How does your project communicate your position and practice as a designer?
My position is in the middle of expert and participatory mindset. In this project, I have made full preparations and work at every stage. And I directly communicated with the audiences many times to get some feedback to improve the project. And I am in favor of critical design. This design thinking has always influenced me. Because my purpose is to encourage people to debate a new concept, and critical design advocates a kind of critical thinking. I defined the context of the debate, imagined and discovered the problem, and then created a scene. Materialize the scene and inspire the audience. In this project, I regard the ego box as a point of the “connection”web, in fact, it also expresses my position as a designer.

How do you feel your outcome is appropriate, accessible and informed by the needs of the audience?
In the early stage of this project, I have been worried about the problem of communication, because the subject I am discussing is huge and abstract, and I am afraid that the audience cannot understand it. But in the final test, under my guidance and explanation, the audience quickly understood what I wanted to convey. My expression also became more precise and clear as the project progressed. My proficiency in the project made me more confident to guide people to watch this project. In the tutorial group, most of the feedback people give me is some questions, and some unclear points are raised. But this time, due to sufficient preparation and repeated improvements, the audience saw a more comprehensive and diverse project. My audience showed me a clear understanding of the project, and I successfully caused them to discuss the connection between the ego and the world. In particular, I added a interactive part to allow the audience to participate in this project, which reminds me of the concept of "design with people" that I learned in the Mindset and Method workshop. I did achieve frequent communication with various related people in this project, which is an improvement for me. Through constant communication and reflection, I found an approximate and accessible result for my project.
